ABSTRACT

As we have seen in the previous chapter, Spiritual Capital theory holds great promise for infusing a life-giving impulse into existing forms of capital and current economic practice. Spiritual Capital can provide economics with a much-needed moral core as well as help re-root it in social ontology as opposed to the empirically-driven mathematical modeling and positivistic thinking that currently prevails. Utilizing free market principles infused with Spiritual Capital has the potential to advance the common good and result in significant societal renewal.
