ABSTRACT

This chapter presents that corporations were created for specific purposes and were under the control of their creator, which was government body. It talks about the goal of the wealthy that is to regain complete control of all branches of the political system so that they can repeal all regulatory laws and once again use their corporations to operate without any government interference whatsoever. Wars between nation-states are ongoing as corporation run nation-states with military power, like the United States, invade and exploit weaker nation-states to colonize them "for their own enrichment" as Michael Parenti puts it. Colonization is the process of co-opting a social entity through the use of physical or economic force to make that entity available for resource and labor extraction. The chapter explains the negative effects of corporate globalization is that the United States, reduced to a consumer nation, is sinking into debt and the value of the United States currency has been diminished.
