ABSTRACT

The Union of Polish Metropolies provides comprehensive information on legal, demographic and economic status and the metropolises development in the country. Non-agritourism products and services make up 67 per cent of all farmers’ offers. The most popular products and services in the Poznan metropolis are picnic spots, hiking and horse riding, where the frequency of occurrence exceeds 50 per cent. The basket of products and services of nature tourism in the Bydgoszcz-Torun metropolitan area includes 30 different attractions offered by agritourism farms. The most popular products and services are picnic spots and panorama, where the frequency of occurrence exceeds 50 per cent. Apart from the products and services which are typical of agritourism, the offers also include attractions which belong to categories other than agritourism. Agritourism products and services make up 33 per cent of all tourism attractions offered by farmers.
