ABSTRACT

Over the coming decades, a manager’s resilience and his ability to positively influence the mental resilience of his employees will play an increasingly important role in companies’ success and also become more relevant for managers’ careers. Those who, in times of uncertainty and transformation, are able to keep themselves and the people around them mentally agile, emotionally robust and physically fit are not just idealistic philanthropists; they are acting economically wisely and prudently in an era of the ‘war for talent’.
