ABSTRACT

The first effort to communicate to the academic fraternity the launching of Spandan as a foundation for the propagation and inculcation of human values in management and management education took place in 2002 (Rao 2002). The ten or so years since then has been full of experiences and experiments between and among the small group determined to do whatever possible to achieve the foundation's objective. Whatever the results, the efforts have always been memorable and rewarding. Earlier chapters, Chapter 3 in particular, proved how essential the Spandan Approach, its 3D Process and Spectrum of Human Values can be. The current chapter takes a retrospective look at Spandan to see what lessons can be drawn for the future from its insights and experiences.
