ABSTRACT

The Spandan 3D Process of Diagnosis, Discovery and Development was explained as a means of inculcating human values in an organization. It was also explained how adherence to Transformational Human Values would enable a person to develop a proper mind-set towards self and others. Many of the human values covered in the Spandan Spectrum of Human Values 2011 play a key role in ensuring the experiential learning approach values both the uniqueness of the individual and the connectedness of the collective. Practising empathy and compassion allows the facilitator to connect with the universe of the participants and to make a choice which is wholesome for the process of learning. Trust is a two-way process in experiential learning. The facilitator needs authentic information from the organization to design the overall intervention and the experiential learning activities. The facilitator needs to connect with the emotions within self and exercise self-control.
