ABSTRACT
It is amazing how often people are affected by illusions and the significant consequences of these illusions. People spend enormous efforts to acquire the trappings of wealth – a large house, a new car, a trophy wife, etc. – because of the illusion that it will bring them happiness, but it does not. People start wars because of the illusion that they will be better off, but it makes their lives worse. Amazingly, most people are aware that these are illusions, but they are still entrapped in them.
