ABSTRACT

Establishing a major Government contract is a project in itself. You, as project director, have been charged with bringing the contract into existence. Your job is to deliver the best contract you can: the right parties, the right terms, the right price. But the contract is being brought into existence not for its own sake but as a means to an end. It is the subject matter of the contract – the bridge, the submarines, the hospital, the IT system – that Government really wants.
