ABSTRACT
This chapter is a systematic review and investigation of the social implications of disaster waste management on displaced citizens during the recovery phase of a natural disaster (a hurricane). The researcher will attempt to identify strategies for effective management of both disaster waste and citizen displacement. In the study, I will analyze the community-wide impact that cuts across a wide spectrum of infrastructures and services, such as clean water, healthcare, electricity, schools, access roads, safety, and so on.
