In the night wee sette sayle, being conducted aboord by Sr. [i.e., Signor] Cuteles, Pr. Segers and others. 1 And being the halfe waye of Sumatra wee gott a mightye cake 2 oute of the E. of rayne, wynd and foule wether, so that wee ran behynde certayne ilands under the coaste of Java, till towards the evening the wether growing more tractable, and then wee sette sayle agayne.
