Good governance seeks to ensure that the organisation has integrity and makes wise decisions. It does this by implementing systems that ensure transparency, fairness and accountability.
It therefore follows that weak governance allows for the opposite: corruption and bad decisions. Activities may be opaque, people can be treated unfairly and senior people may not be held accountable for their actions.
