ABSTRACT
Finance has not traditionally been the concern of the chief risk officer. There are three main reasons for this:
1 The numbers can seem too complicated for people to get their brain around: it’s hard to see what the costs and revenues actually mean, especially in statutory accounts which are complicated by tax issues.
