ABSTRACT

As a (visual) artist, I am intimately familiar with the technical and organizational conditions of telework. Working independently, not to say self-exploitation; the need to actively link up to and maintain one’s social environment; the almost impossible exclusion of one’s personal life from work: these are factors of a trend in society that artists, provided they have not long since anticipated it, have experienced and will experience rst hand. This experience certainly has both a good and a bad side, and it is likely to be impossible to always judge it objectively.
