ABSTRACT
Having a child go missing is every parent or guardian’s worst nightmare. Immediate questions concerning why the child has disappeared, where they may have gone and who they may be with are the source of immense anguish for those responsible for the child’s safeguarding, but are critical to forming an immediate and focused search for the missing child.
