ABSTRACT

We take advantage of our precursors, and it is not our primary goal to say original

things about property spaces as creative tools for social science theorizing. Still, we

make a few contributions of our own to the field by elaborating on the terms for the

parts of a property space and by distinguishing between different ways of reducing

property spaces. Property spaces are a general logical tool to keep track of concepts

and relations between concepts and to develop new concepts. In contrast to our

predecessors, we concentrate on using property spaces to theorize.
