ABSTRACT

All organizations have a corporate culture. Some are more noticeable or stronger than others. A corporate culture is the system of values, beliefs, norms and behaviours that creates a certain organizational climate. Tangible factors such as the external environment, technologies, organization size and structure, generation makeup, corporate environment, leadership and management styles also influence the corporate culture. Creating a valuesdriven culture is an essential leadership role. It underpins trust and confidence that can sustain the reputation of the information service as an employer of choice, a quality service provider and entity demonstrating ethics, good governance, accountability and social responsibility in challenging times.
