ABSTRACT
Introduction In this chapter, I make pedagogical recommendations based on not only the empirical study in Part II but also the philosophical arguments made in Part I concerning listening, musical meaning, and musical understanding. I also base my recommendations in this chapter on my own teaching experiences, which primarily consist of teaching liberal studies music courses at the university level.
