ABSTRACT

On April 20 and 21, 2014, the United States—perhaps in concert with Yemini forces—attacked individuals and targets reportedly affiliated with the terrorist organization, Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). According to press reports, over 30 individuals were killed or “successfully targeted” as the government reported, including those who allegedly bore responsibility for attacks against the United States. The primary weapons used during the US attack were drones.
