ABSTRACT

The following questions will focus your thinking and enable you to form a realistic view of what the event has accomplished – and your part in it.

1 To what extent did the group achieve its objectives? How do I know? 2 To what extent were individual participants satisfied with the event? How do I know? 3 Were there any unexpected positive or negative outcomes from the event? What did I do

about the negative outcomes, if any? 4 Was I realistic about setting the objectives for the event? How do I know? 5 Did I clearly communicate the objectives for the event? How do I know they were

understood? 6 Am I satisfied with the event programme? Did the design help us meet our objectives? If so,

how? 7 Did I ensure that suppliers, contractors, facilitators and specialists were accurately briefed? 8 Did the setting and agreeing of ground rules support the team’s progress? 9 Am I happy with the way in which I worked with participants during the event?
