A Planning Day gives teams a chance to take stock and to make detailed preparations for how a concept or idea will be put into practice. It is about thinking ahead and anticipating not only what you are going to need to do, but also what resources you will need to do it. It may be part of a broader strategic plan anticipating the long term, although you still need to plan for the short term to meet each milestone. Either way, you need to ensure that your plan dovetails into the corporate vision.
