Having discussed the emergence of religious fundamentalism, I now introduce the method I have used in examining the narratives of the study participants. Post-structural research is neither a neutral nor a straightforward endeavour; therefore I will provide a rationale for my methodological framework, including the data collection, data design, sample overview, ethical issues and how trustworthiness and authenticity were addressed.
