ABSTRACT
The Intergovernmental Panel of Experts on Climate Change (IPCC) has progressively revealed evidence of planetary global warming (IPCC, 2007). The energy policies of nations and supranational entities are at the heart of the strategies implemented to adapt to this new situation. They show increased interest in the large-scale development of alternative energies, such as solar, wind, biomass or marine energy.
