ABSTRACT
This chapter will focus on several major areas within airline operations with a view to highlighting the structure of specific relationships and duties that devolve from the international conventions and state laws that govern aviation. The purpose is not to make the reader an expert in any particular area of airline operations, but rather to raise the main legal and regulatory issues and concepts that arise within the scope of airline activities.
