ABSTRACT

In moving across from Tanzania and Zimbabwe in Africa to Sarvodaya in Sri Lanka, altogether from a relational perspective, we turn our attention from participatory action research and rhythmical enterprise to now contributing to economic well-being, as such forming a bridge between ‘south’ and ‘east’, which befits south-east Asia. Economically and relationally speaking, therefore, we turn from self-sufficient origination, and a substantive economic foundation, to participatory economic emancipation, onto ultimately relational transformation: economic awakening.
