ABSTRACT
Introduction This chapter argues that an accessible transport system is needed to ensure that all sections of society have equal access to life opportunities and attain a high quality of life. This inclusion should take into account the different priorities and needs diverse user groups (Table 11.1) identified from a literature and transport research review. After the pilot phase of the METPEX project, the following groups were agreed upon (Table 11.2).
