ABSTRACT

Orion Partners have been involved in the implementation of upward of 14 different HR Business Partner initiatives in the public and private sectors. We have not always got it right first time nor have we always accurately assessed the size of the mouthful relative to our ability to chew. This final chapter deals with the lessons that we have learnt at the implementation coal-face, where the theory meets reality. We have identified 12 key common issues that need to be addressed in a successful implementation.
