ABSTRACT

International service management has become a top priority in today's society as organizations realize the importance of customer service. Service management focuses on the management of the strategic and operational aspects of business, as well as improving service quality and the efficiency and effectiveness of these processes. Services include all internal and external activities of organizations aimed at customer acquisition, retention, and care. The international service managers who run these organizations overseas need to understand the different cultures that he or she will be living and working in. Euro Disney is an example of an organization that has incorporated the tool of service management and has succeeded because of it. An organization must know their product and/or service and customers inside and out or they will fail. Service quality and customer satisfaction are qualities customers expect everywhere they go. Service quality needs to be the responsibility of every employee in the organization.
