ABSTRACT

Construct a simple fill-in-the-blank questionnaire using questions related to the content of the training. Put in questions from all of the major content areas. Explain that throughout the induction programme, participants will be given information that answers the various questions. If they pay attention, by the end they should have gathered enough information to answer all of the questions correctly. Explain that information might come from you and various materials that you will be using, and may also come from visiting guest speakers. It is important that the answers come up naturally in the programme material and not look as if they have been deliberately stuck into the material. It is also a nice touch to have guest speakers deliver some of the answers. Information comes from a variety of resources. Play the game with partners or small groups of three or four participants working together to find the right answers.
