ABSTRACT
The facilitator begins by introducing himself or herself to the group, giving name, where they grew up and went to school, and the position they have. The facilitator distributes pencils and paper, and then gives a quiz based on the information just given by the participants about themselves. For a pre-induction activity, post 'card kits' to new employees with instructions for making their special business card. They could be instructed to bring their special business card to their induction training programme. As an induction companion activity, the new employee and the companion could both make up cards and bring them to one of their meetings to share and discuss. For an electronic version of this activity, e-mail participants a list of class members and ask that they contact one another and gather the information. The first one to e-mail you a complete class list with the correct information on every class participant wins a prize.
