ABSTRACT

The action research case study in the previous chapter examined the utility of the Diversity Quality Cycle, which can be instrumental in facilitating a process of substantial shifts in the social justice outcomes within organizations. While author's main focus has been upon diversity management practices, the Diversity Quality Cycle, as a system of innovative and egalitarian governance, can and should be used as a framework for cultural transformations of any type, regardless of the subject matter. It argues that internal integrity of the wider organizational culture must be intact in order for the Diversity Quality Cycle to work effectively, or an organization must be committed to improving its inadequacies as part of the Diversity Quality Cycle execution. It argues due to the severity of the current socio-economic crisis, we researchers should turn our attention first and foremost to concerns of wider civic society. The chapter begins by exploring further application and utility of the Diversity Quality Cycle within civic society.
