ABSTRACT

The dislocation that works like the TBT (see Chapter 3) effectuate happens on a horizontal, anti-hierarchical level, so to speak. It challenges the transcendentalism of the tradition of spatial exploration which permeates much of the contemporary hype about locative mobile technologies and replaces it with issues of bare life, emergency and hospitality – in a word, with technobiopolitics. It is no coincidence that Dominguez is also a co-founder of the *particle group*, a collective of artists and activists, working since 2006, that adopts a multimedia approach to investigate the spaces of tactical resistance inside the corporate networks of nanotechnologies.
