Shareholder and other stakeholder benefits follow. The bureaucratic co-ordination of the activities of large numbers of people still pervades both public and private organisations. A corporation needs capital to operate, and people need money to live. Most of the characteristics of Brin and Page's Montessori education are in evidence in the Google corporate culture. The decision making process can be frustrating. Traditional companies attempt to manufacture alignment through top-down controls, measurement and reward systems.
