ABSTRACT
Most, if not all, debt collection in England and Wales is conducted through the County Courts, it is rare that any debt collection matters end up in the High Court (except for Insolvency Proceedings) and so this chapter limits itself to the realities of County Court debt recovery actions, of which about 2 million are issued per annum.
