ABSTRACT

The molecular economy applies microtechnology to business applications. This is the highest level of convergence known today, involving the convergence of biological systems and artificial systems to improve human lives. Biotechnology has provided many beneficial tools in a variety of areas. It has led to scientific study in the fields of medicine, agriculture, and bioremediation, in addition to other fields. Nanotechnology is an applied field of science interested in controlling matter at the atomic and molecular scale. Molecular technologies are being exploited by a number of businesses. These advances are found through miniaturization, visualization, manipulation, and evaluation. The molecular economy is concerned with bringing business applications to microtechnology. Science has made many advances at the nanotechnology scale. Biotechnology and nanotechnology refer to areas of scientific advance. These advances have been especially effective in materials science and in automated computer applications such as robotics. The new molecular economy would involve technology evolution beyond our current comprehension.
