ABSTRACT

As was claimed earlier, the development of a commercial aircraĞ project demands a Management approach (as opposed to a technical approach, which is not the subject of this book), which is different to the one applied to most other projects. The proposed approach is integrative and essential at the same time. It is integrative because it integrates state-of-the-art Management disciplines on the basis of an integrated project architecture. These disciplines comprise:

Systems Engineering; Life-Cycle Costing; Rapid Development; Project Management; Total Quality Management; as well as Multi-Cultural Management.
