ABSTRACT

As we saw earlier, commercial aircraĞ consist of hundreds of thousands, if not millions of parts. In addition, there are numerous related tooling, fixtures, gauges, templates, test equipment and so on. Thus, with a different mix of options selected, but certainly with additional specific customer requirements embedded (for example in the cabin), it may well be that no aircraĞ is identical to another, even if it were designed to the same standard definition.1
