ABSTRACT

Having a certified, high-quality product in the market place at planned Entry into Service (EIS), fully satisfying or even exceeding customer expectations, combined with the requirement of staying within planned Non-Recurring Cost (NRC) targets, is the one major objective for the Development phase of any commercial aircraĞ. Safety, quality, time and cost are the paramount criteria for this phase. However, to lay the best possible foundations for delivering the aircraĞ programme’s Business Case is the other major objective for this phase. Let us see why.
