ABSTRACT
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book explains why these tracks of mutual protection of democracy and bureaucracy do not contradict one another. Despite the democracy-bureaucracy paradox, there are a handful of options for reconciling the dilemmas that these social structures bring with them into our lives. The book presents empirical examinations, cross-national comparisons, and longitudinal analysis over time and locations are the road that must be followed to clarify the enigma of relationships between bureaucracy and democracy. Effective governability can be attained only when red type is minimized. Raising formal barriers that impede the smooth functioning of administrators and bureaucrats is a recipe for getting incurring citizens' mistrust and creating a lack of confidence. For most scholars in the political sciences and in public administration, for example, bureaucracy is the most essential instrument of nation building.
