ABSTRACT
Children’s lives are intricately linked with their families and parents. Family transitions through divorce affect children directly and indirectly. Divorce impacts on multiple aspects of children’s lives and it is the overwhelming extent of changes that can be most challenging for children to cope with. Some key themes of impact that children face include changes in financial contexts, physical movements, difficult emotional states of loss, changes in social life and roles, changes in education and career development.
