ABSTRACT

The objective of this chapter is to attempt a managerial-practical (rather than just a timorous legalistic) analysis of the Bribery Act 2010 and related legislation and their significance for honest companies. For busy managers who don’t have time to get into the detail, they can cut to the chase by accepting just two points:

1. Don’t even think of trying to weasel word your way around the Act. 2. Manage on principle.
