ABSTRACT
A free-market regime is likely to speed up airline network change; deregulation removes the regulatory impediments to rapid modifications of airline networks (de NeufVille and Odoni 2003). As we saw in the preceding chapters, European airline networks in a free-market regime are dynamic structures in both space and time that show discontinuous changes.
