ABSTRACT
To what extent can the airport planning process for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol be characterized as a flexible planning style? What, in practice, are the limitations for such a planning style? In this chapter we report our assessment of the master planning process for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (Schiphol, hereafter). We have made our assessment by using the theoretical framework of Flexible Strategic Planning (Chapter 8).
