ABSTRACT

Recent research published by the Royal Society has shown that modest property refurbishment can dramatically reduce energy consumption (Qomi et al. 2016). It found that targeting the lowest performing buildings in Cambridge, Mass (a mere 16 per cent) can cut 40 per cent of the natural gas usage of the entire city. LGP has already recognized the value in these types of targeted improvements, becoming a leader in sustainable real estate and adding to the value of its investments while consistently meeting ambitious sustainability targets.
