ABSTRACT
Introduction This Compare Forum section includes two reflective pieces by researchers based in Mexico (Juan Carlos Barrón-Pastor) and India (Malini Ghose and Disha Mullick). Their experiences of engaging with ethical issues in research contexts challenge some of the dominant assumptions in this Special Issue about researcher identity, research relationships and how knowledge is constructed.
