ABSTRACT
In conventional macro photography we are often forced to compose and photograph from a particular position to maximise the depth of eld. Being restricted to certain positions constrains creativity, especially if you want to illustrate the subject from a more oblique angle. Using smaller apertures is not necessarily the solution as it means slower shutter speeds and an increased risk of di raction.
