ABSTRACT
The following list is composed entirely of LPs. This is because the distribution network for reggae singles is so uneven and idio syncratic that there can be no guarantee that the recommended 45s would be available from high-street record stores. The list should thus be read as a loose guideline. But all o f the records recommended below are available from Virgin Records which has branches dotted throughout the country. Beyond this, I would suggest that pupils interested in reggae should be encouraged to bring their own collections into school.
