ABSTRACT

Some procurement methods have been introduced since the 1990s in order to meet the changing requirements of clients (Masterman, 2002). Previous overseas literature has revealed that TCC and GMP contracts can bring significant benefits to all contracting parties, if they can be properly structured, implemented and managed (Trench, 1991; Walker et al., 2000). In this chapter, the merits and rationale of TCC and GMP procurement strategies will be explored and discussed.
