ABSTRACT
Over the past few decades, scientists have sent many missions out into the Solar System to discover its secrets. Space probes have sent back pictures and made discoveries, which have enabled us to understand the structure of our Solar System in great detail. In addition to the information gained by spacecraft, new and more powerful telescopes have enabled scientists to see beyond our Solar System to gain understanding of the faraway objects which populate the universe.
