ABSTRACT

Leslie Hancock has a doctorate in curriculum and instruction. A portion of her studies at the doctorate level were the instructional strategies that go across curricular boundaries such as cooperative learning, quality questioning, wait time, and the value of a positive learning culture in a classroom. As a generalist teacher, she has had first-hand experiences in the use of these strategies and how well they can be adapted within the different student groups and achievement levels she taught in her own classrooms.
