Developing an idea that is carried out to completion in a scientific research program is a powerful and creative process. To experience taking a topic, constructing research questions, and collecting evidence to support or refute your ideas can be exhilarating. And the first step-generating researchable topics that are unique ideas-is often one of the most innovative parts.
